Having a hard time planning your dream wedding? Here are some tips for you!
Set the official date of your wedding.
Pick a date that is significant to you and your fiancé:)
Make sure the date is still available to book in church/ceremony.
It can be a weekday or a weekend.
(Also, make sure your parents already know that you guys are already engaged too, wink! )
Set the number of guests you’ll have on your event.
50? 100? or 200 maybe?
Write your guest list, start with your immediate family then people closest to your heart.
Set your budget given the number of guests and wedding supplier preferences. Identify if this is an indoor or outdoor wedding event. If this is a formal or just a laid-back and chill kind of event.
Identify if this is a local wedding event or a destination wedding too.
Identify the motif or theme of the event.
It is rustic? shabby chic? modern minimalist? the list goes on.
At least from there, we can have the idea or bigger picture of what the wedding will look like.
Book a wedding planner who can assist you with all your queries.
From there you can identify the venue and the caterer and everything else will follow. Your wedding coordinator will give you a checklist that can help you with all details and everything in between.
Remember to enjoy the rest of wedding planning. Don’t stress yourself on the little things because, at the end of the day, you and your fiancé, your family and closest friends are all that matter.
